Is NCB Management Services a scam?

They’re legit. NCB Management Services is a legitimate debt collection agency with a long history of harrassing consumers over debts. They work in a wide range of markets, including the financial, retail, education, commercial, insurance, government, and healthcare sectors. NCB Management is a debt buyer and member of the Debt Buyers Association. This means that they purchase portfolios of written-off debt and try to collect on enough of the old debts so that they can make a profit.

If you’ve suffered from NCB debt harassment, you do have options. Under the law you can recover up to $1,000 for violations of the FDCPA, and $500 to $1,500 for each cell phone robocall.

Can NCB Management Services Sue Me or Garnish My Wages?

It is illegal for a debt collector to make empty threats to sue you or garnish your wages. It is also unlikely NCB would sue you for a debt you may not owe or they cannot validate. However, debt collection agencies are known to have summoned debtors to court and garnish wages after a default judgement. Contacting an attorney BEFORE this could possibly happen would be a smart move. We’ve helped thousands of consumers fight back against unscrupulous debt collection harassers. NCB Management Services Calling You?

Federal laws protect you. The Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) regulates the behavior of collection agencies by prohibiting actions such as the use of abusive or threatening language; harassment; or the use of false or misleading information to collect a debt. The FCRA regulates how collection agencies and creditors report delinquent debts to credit reporting agencies. Additional consumer protection laws include the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Consumer Financial Protection Act (CFPA).

But here’s the rub: If you want to enforce your rights, or recover money for violations — you need to sue. These laws provide individuals like you with a means to seek monetary damages in court. For example, the FDCPA allows consumers who have been violated to recover damages of up to $1,000, plus attorney fees and court costs.

What Our Clients are Saying

“Know that you, Vlad, and your firm did a good thing. You took on a big company for little people and righted a wrong. For this we are grateful.”

“I’ve tried several times to handle debt collectors, but to no avail. It got very frustrating. Contacting you was the best decision I’ve made. It was no longer me against the collectors. I wasn’t alone. I had a team on my side. You truly care. Thank you so much for doing what I couldn’t do by myself.”

”I was super skeptical that anyone could fix my debt issues. I had dealt with it so long it just became an every day hassle I just wanted to avoid. I made the decision to call Lemberg Law, and I can say I’m no longer skeptical. The calls have stopped, and they even were able to recover money for me. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

NCB management! Called my husband and then I called them back. The guy demanded an alternate number and I asked him not to call my husband and he got very ugly. Continually, asking over and over why I was behind and even after explaining my circumstances was very hateful and degrading. I finally cried and told him I couldnt take any more abuse.

NCB Management drafted $ out of my account when I did not authorize additional payments. I had agreed to a ONE TIME payment and I would call back to make payments however they continued to draft without my authorization. Theyve called my work. Theyve called my family. Theyve harassed me numerous times.

Ncb calls from a local fake number several times a day and week. They call family and friends.

NCB Management is contacting me on a daily basis all day. They are harassing and very rude to the point of intimidation. I explained to the representative several times my financial situation has not changed she continued to press asking more and more questions. Between her and the last Representative “Bob” I was very upset.

My chapter 7 discharged March of 2018. N c b reduced my balance to zero. However, they have left the account open and they keep reporting it to the three credit bureaus. The last update was October 2018. I have contacted them but they have not responded. This erroneous reported information has hurt my credit score which has prevented me from obtaining a car loan, which is needed in order for me to continue to work.
