Deutsche Bank TCPA Settlement – In lawsuits filed across the country, consumers allege that Deutsche Bank and Ocwen Loan Servicing are liable for millions of telemarketing calls placed in violation of the TCPA.

What is the Ocwen Deutsche Bank TCPA Settlement?

A $2.7 million settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit alleging Deutsche Bank National Trust Co. which then hired the company Ocwen Loan Servicing, to make robocalls, therefore violating the TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) to collect loans from the members of the proposed class by making automated phone calls to phone numbers listed on the national Do Not Call Registry and to recipients who did not provide their consent.

The Settlement affects certain individuals who received an Automatic Call from Ocwen between December 28, 2012 and December 3, 2019.

If the Settlement is approved, Class Members will receive only a pro rata share of the $2.7 million settlement fund which divided amongst all members could equate to a monetary award far more inferior than what filing an individual suit could result in.

After attorneys’ fees and expenses and lead plaintiffs’ incentive awards are deducted, remaining eligible persons would receive an estimated cash award of only $25.00 based on a 10% claim rate, but could be less upon final approval.

My house was taken from me after attempting to refinance , Ocwen had me filling out paperwork and then made me wait for and answer to only tell me that the time ran out and I had to start the process again. this went on for 2 years and then Ocwen foreclosed on my home.

I am a member in of this class action suit and both Ocwen and Home Residential held my mortgage and received many automated calls over the 20 years in which I owned my home and always felt there was something wrong in the way in which they handled my mortgage. I feel they owe me thousands regarding my escrow account when I made a change to my mortgage. Is there a class action suit for this.

I want to know when I will receive my settlement? I had hundreds of calls from them. Eventually I had to sell my home to them!

  • Charles M

I signed out to be a member of the class action suit and I wanted to know about my legal rights of opting out versus receiving the settlement.
